I’m currently working on my #sourcessurvey. Is there a major penalty for going over the word limit? I’m at 1577 words and trying to cut down, but I am finding difficulty.

@mkane Thanks for sharing this description. Right on track. Ponder the last bit of the description prompts above – why is it important to study/understand this group?

Do the articles in our lit review need to be organized in the matrix in any particular order? I noticed in the examples many were in alphabetical order by author last name, but I wasn’t seeing anything about that in the instructions (or maybe I missed it?). Hello @marissatavener – There is no requirement for how they are listed. Some students use alphabetical order, others in order of interest. I like the idea of thematic groupings!

Hurray for this group! I had this question too and luckily I thought to look here first.

@michael This definitely helps with the community based source as being on a spectrum of the info cycle, thank you. I believe my book is still research based, later in the cycle, as it looks back at the cultural […]

@kevinm I would say that a community-based source runs the gamut of early in the info cycle to late – as you point out. And you make a good point about a publish book being later in the information cycle so […]

No major penalty for a little bit over (like 77 words) but the max word count on the paper is firm. 😀
Okay, that is good to know, thank you!
