More Library Response: “Never Let a Serious Crisis Go to Waste…”

Hey all – I have been thinking a lot about how the world will be different when the virus has run its course. I’ve also been watching what libraries are doing for out reach in the middle of this crisis. This morning, I had a FaceTime with my doctor to check in after we postponed my yearly check up until June. It was interesting to see him on my computer instead of in the little exam room. We had a good chat about feeling anxious in these times etc. He said “Don’t let this take total control of your life.” Take precautions. Be safe. But live.

Then, into Feedly came this from Christian Lauersen: Never Let a Serious Crisis Go to Waste  Take a look at all the examples he gathered of how libraries are helping people to live in the midst of a crisis.

Please take a look to see how all types of librarians are stepping up.
