Study Skills 2 days, 3 hours agoHi, everyone, just wanted to check in with you. How is it going? Personally, I am feeling quite behind, but it seems to be getting a little easier over time. I am still figuring out how to juggle FT work, home life, and school.
What strategies have you employed to help stay on track?

Becky…I am in the thick of it too between work, kids and school. It is frustrating to know as a very non-traditional student that if you aren’t ahead then you are really kind of behind and missing small details in assignments :/

FT work, two kids under 5, home life, school…I feel like there’s no time for me to even clear a table so I can put my computer on it (as I type this, my 8-month-old is banging on the table and my laptop is hanging off said table). Module 4 Lecture – Is anyone else as blown away by the websleuth mapping of Hektor’s model as me??!!
I’ve watched this lecture three times now, and every time I get to that part, I’m just done. Absolutely mindblown. Trying not to feel too inadequate each time I see it. -

Writing Group 2 weeks, 5 days agoHelp – I am reading an article that I believe will be a good one for my topic. It is dated 2009. Under the “Results” section, it says they are still being analyzed. What is the best way to go about finding any updates for this research article?

Thank you! I’ll be sure to consult these recommendations next time. For future reference, I had Sanchita. I don’t know if she was just having a bad day or if I wasn’t bold enough or what, but I won’t book her again. My problem is my schedule, and our extended due date was looming.

I didn’t have a very good first experience with the Writing Center. l was very underwhelmed. She didn’t turn on her camera and she seemed like she’d rather be doing anything else. She didn’t look at my writing, just wanted to know what my questions were.

@thegab2022 Maybe try again with a different tutor? I had Jamet and she was really helpful. I shared my screen and read aloud what I had so far in my paper. We discussed and she gave good recommendations! I think it helps that she is an MLIS student who has taken this course.
