Grading Criteria
Grading will be based on 100 possible points.
- All assignments are due on Sundays unless otherwise noted and must be turned in by 11:59 p.m. PT
- Major assignments after the book review should be submitted to Canvas (not your blog) using the file naming convention: “LastName_NameofAssignment” as a Word doc or PDF.
- Communication and interaction throughout the semester via the course site is expected and required.
- Grading Criteria:
- Blog Reports 2 – 7: INFO200_Criteria_for_Grading_Blog_Reports 2-7
- Blog Reports 1 & 8: INFO 200 Criteria for Grading Blog Reports 1 & 8
- Major Assignments: INFO200_Criteria_for_Grading_Major_Assignments
- Participation: INFO_200_Criteria_for_Grading_Participation
Late Policy:
If you need to turn in an assignment late (for any reason), you must write to me before the deadline at mstephens7@mac.com.
- If you do not write before the deadline, late submissions for major assignments will be reduced by 20% of the total points possible for that assignment.
- There is more flexibility with Blog Reports. They can be up to 3 days late.
