Choosing Your Community Discussion 2 months, 3 weeks ago Hello:) I am thinking about Children’s Book Publishers as an Info Community. I am curious about how books are selected, trends started and then the power that publishers have over the types of info and availability of info distributed. I am wondering though if this is too broad of a topic?
@bookflyer This is interesting. I am not aware of how much published LIS literature there would be on the information behaviors and needs of Children’s Book Publishers. It may be more focused on publishers in general or authors… I have had papers on the info behaviors and needs of authors and artists before. You may want to do some trial searches to see if the literature is there.
