In the Third Edition INFORMATION SERVICES TODAY An Introduction book, there is “Research on information communities offer five characteristics:
1. Emphasis on collaboration among diverse information providers
2. Capacity to form around people’s needs to access and use information
3. Capacity to exploit the information-sharing qualities of emerging technologies
4. Ability to transcend barriers to information sharing
5. Capacity to foster social connectedness” (From page 43.)

For Blog #2, do we need to answer these questions, as well as try to write about how the people might try to find the information they are looking for?
