This blog report is a personal reflection on information communities, academic writing, and the research process. 

Getting Started

  • Consider your experience in INFO 200. Some potential ideas to explore include:
    • What are you taking away from your ongoing explorations and research? 
    • How has your writing evolved throughout the course? 
    • What experiences will inform your practice as an information professional moving forward?

Assignment Requirements

  • The blog report should reflect on your experience in INFO 200. 
  • The blog must be shared on your iSchool WordPress blog site.
  • Any references should be in APA 7th edition format.
  • Hanging indents are difficult to add in WordPress, so are not required for blogs

  • Required components evaluates whether your blog report includes all required elements stated in the assignment. You need to successfully create a course reflection blog report and share it with the course community.
  • Mechanics assesses the quality of writing and technical aspects of the blog report. Your report’s delivery should be polished and clean and show evidence of significant effort.  

Before Submitting Your Assignment

  • Spell and grammar check your report. 
  • Take a break from blogging and come back later to manually proofread your report. Since your reports will be shared on the open web, they should be well-organized, evidence-based, and professionally written.
  • Check that any links or multimedia in your report are working correctly.

Submitting Your Assignment

Publish your blog report on your WordPress blog. Submit the URL for blog report 8 to Canvas.
