Libraries all over the world are implementing services and spaces designed for their communities. Some information organizations seek to engage users via programming and other means of connection to the institution. Librarians are also actively sharing and engaging with new information in order to learn from each other and understand the evolving role of the profession via conferences, working groups, and a shared ethos. Because of new and emerging technologies, these acts of sharing and engaging with information, and the continuous learning that comes with such acts, are global.
