In this blog report, you will explore the professional literature and resources included in the Teaching and Learning module and write a post related to how libraries and information centers create learning and programming opportunities for your chosen community.
Getting Started
- Review the readings from Module 11
- Explore professional literature on the learning opportunities and programming libraries and information centers offer for your information community. Consider:
- What innovative services are in place to support your community’s curiosity?
- Are there gaps in services to your group? You may also suggest some ideas for learning programming to address those gaps.
- Cite course resources and your own independent research.
- Take a look at the report #5 samples in the Assignment Examples.
- Consider if you want to use links, images, or other multimedia in your blog report. If you will be using them, start to gather those resources.
- Write this blog report to fit into your research paper’s Discussion section, perhaps under a heading such as “Learning Programming for Citizen Scientists”. This is not self-plagiarism!
Assignment Requirements
