- Required components evaluates whether the blog report has a solid organizational foundation and includes all required elements stated in the assignment. You should present a media-based artifact expanding upon research and explorations into your information community’s use of emerging technologies. The supporting research and exploration should be well developed.
- Mechanics assesses the quality of writing and technical aspects of the blog report. Your report’s media-based artifact is engaging and shows significant effort and creativity. The delivery is polished and follows a logical thought process. Images, links, or other media are included are used thoughtfully. The report is grammatically correct, lacking spelling, syntax, or punctuation errors; APA 7 referencing is technically correct in the narrative and the reference list.
- Comprehension and analysis assesses your broad understanding of the ideas and ability to integrate the ideas into your work. You should demonstrate a broad understanding of your information community’s use of emerging technologies through fully developed research and exploration of the topic; examples of the information community’s use of emerging technologies are integrated into the blog report.
- Connections to course content and information science evaluates how you use INFO 200 materials and LIS theories as a framework for your ideas. You should incorporate research and exploration focused on the information community’s use of emerging technologies especially toward advancement of the community and information sharing; foundational course materials and LIS models/theories are used to expand the breadth and depth of the blog report.
