“Blanket” Extension for LRM!

Hey all – I have heard from a few of you that life has intervened in your coursework. Let’s invoke a blanket extension for the LRM for all students in my section.

The LRM will now be due by April 21st!

First, I want to say thank you a million times over for granting an extension for the LRM, @michael.

Second, I will comment on the picture you posted. The dance between shadow and light is my most favorite thing in the world. There is a Japanese word that I’ve learned for this: komorebi (pronounced koh-mo-reh-bee). It is roughly translated as the light that is filtered through trees. Breathtaking.

@marlinda What a wonderful nugget of knowledge! I didn’t even know there was a word for it. It’s one of the best things about hiking in forests.

@michael Thank you for the extension! This buys me some valuable time after making a few late changes to my LRM.

Rie, I’m so sorry you got sick! My youngest just had COVID last week as well. I think my husband and I managed to avoid it, but that has been my fear for days as we’ve helped him deal with isolation and getting better. I hope you’re on the mend very soon!

Thanks, @staceynerdin! So sorry to hear you were in a similar boat. What is it with the littlest ones and Covid last week? This is my SECOND TIME getting Covid thanks to those little disease vectors–my 4-year-old gave me Covid 4 days postpartum–and both of them got it from school. In both scenarios I had been home almost exclusively for a week prior to contracting it myself. (In this case it was two weeks.) Hoping you continue to steer clear!

Oh, thanks. well, as an extroverted ADHD person entering her late 50’s, I tend to wear my heart on my sleeve. Sometimes I feel silly, but I gotta be me!
