Hi! I’ll be traveling during this session so cannot attend. I do have a question: How best to avoid missing out on relevant material when searching for sources? I think about FOMO — fear of missing out — on important research. Thank you!

To ensure comprehensive coverage of your research, develop a well-defined search strategy that incorporates multiple databases. Utilize citation trails (both backward and forward searching) to identify related studies. Implement database and Google Scholar alerts to stay informed about new developments. Do not overlook conference proceedings. Also — consulting a King librarian can refine your search approach.
Thanks for the tips! I have consulted a King librarian a couple of times already and they have been super helpful. If anyone’s hesitating to reach out to them, I encourage you to do so — they’ve been so willing to help.
