Greetings all – as you know, we have been working behind the scenes all semester updating our info 200 assignments by incorporating the assignment helper documents directly into the assignment pages. Just wanted to get some feedback from you all what you think of this new format with everything on a single page from the introductory video all the different sections to the rubric.

Also, we are currently working on the blog reports as well and doing something very similar to what we did to the assignments. Any feedback on that would be useful as well as we work on those. We are not rolling out any changes to the blog reports this semester because blogging started so early but for future classes, it will be different.

Please share any thoughts below.

  1. Hi Professor,
For the LRM assignment – the page seems really well laid out – I might suggest two things:

    1. a summary resources section at the bottom – the links collected an additional time and in one place
    2. for the proscription against using sources from the course in the LRM – maybe a link or guide on making sure that the paper is/isn’t assigned – just against the idea that someone either printed and didn’t note what module or even if it came from the reading (guilty) or might have not got to all the extra readings in a module (guilty).

    1. @michael – I was asking this because I have read a lot of Hartel, obviously, and I was trying to determine which I had found and which you had actually assigned. You did assign one (Information activity in serious leisure

        1. @michael – Apologies – I meant that in the assignment guide [https://infocom.hyperlib.sjsu.edu/assignments/literature-review-matrix/], not in a student’s LRM – adding a final links section (like a references list) that aggregates/duplicates the links in the body of the assignment guide.
