@michael Would a documentary or dedicated magazine be considered a research-based source?

@aroset Yes, thank you! I couldn’t remember if that info was from 203 or 200. Have you used either of them?
-
Jumping in here! I’ve been using Zotero since my undergrad and I LOVE it. The browser extension means you can save sources with one click and sort them into whatever nested folders you like, and the latest update acts as a PDF reader so you can read and annotate your sources within the app. 10/10

I’m feeling a bit overwhelmed with keeping track of all my used and potential citations. I recall in some tutorial or training that there were two suggested citation trackers. Does anyone remember what those were?
-
Hi Laura! I had Paperfile and Zotero written down from INFO 203 — are these what you were looking for?

@michael I couldn’t figure out how to respond to your feedback for Blog Post #2 on Canvas, but thank you for pointing me in the direction of the serious leisure perspective and enthusiasts for tourism. I’ll be sure to check out the King Library resources to hone in on some search strategies.
-
@laurafong You should be able to use the comment box in the grade book. Take a look. We can investigate if it does not show up.

@michael To clarify, if the 3 day grace period for the upcoming Blog Post #2 is given should we contact you before 11:59pm Pacific Time?

I’m leaning toward National Parks visitors for my information community. Still not sure if and how I should narrow the scope. I’m thinking of focusing on first time visitors, amateur hikers, or those looking to visit all the national parks.
-
@laurafong This sounds good. You may not need to narrow specifically but you could address first time visitors etc in your explorations.
-
Also, this group (or broader travelers) would fall into the Serious Leisure Perspective (SLP) and Enthusiasts area of the literature as well.

Hi folks!
If anyone else was having trouble adding the hanging indent in WordPress for your blog posts, I found a helpful bit of code on a WordPress forum that did the trick. Hope you find it helpful too.
